Welcome Back 2020 Ms. Stultz

Hi, I'm Ms. Stultz. I'll be your biology teacher this year at stanium high school. I just wanted to welcome you to stanium and to this class. I may not get to meet you in person and because of that I'm making this video for you. Hi, I'm back. I was going to take you to another one of my favorite places behind me out here is commencement bay. I love to go kayaking out here. Usually like to kayak when it's sunny and flat water, but sometimes it's kayaking The Rain if it's not too bad. We have beautiful ecosystem out here that we'll talk about this year, but commencement bay is amazing. I wish it was a little bit cleaner, but it's still an amazing place. There's lots of wildlife out here. And so one of the things I like to do, you gotta turn your butt to flip this boat. Oh, yeah. One of the things I like to do is to spend some time out on the water, whether it's in the ocean or a Lake. I did kayak a river this summer, and that was a whole new experience because instead of the alcohol, the sturdy iris, this is iris my kayak's name is iris. I was in an inflatable kayak and I got dumped out in the river and let me tell you, if you've never been dumped out in ice cold water, coming straight off the mountain in the middle of the summer. It'll take your breath away. But luckily I was rescued and thrown back into another raft, and here I am today. August, beautiful sunshine day, back out on the water saying hi to you. Hi. Hi. So, favorite color. Green, all kinds of green, favorite animal. I mean, wild animal, great blue Heron, domestic animal, a dog. I mean, I'm a dog lover. Favorite book. Wow. I read so many, but I still read a lot, but one of my favorite books is the color purple. And then, of course, I love my PG wodehouse. Favorite thing to do. Kayak. Love to kayak. I also like to cook and bird watch and hike and do yoga. I'm gonna get a lot of favorite things to do. I also really like to travel, but I haven't been able to travel much this year. And if you could travel where would you go? I would go back to Iceland, and then I would go to Japan. My goal is to go to Japan for my 50th birthday, fingers crossed. I am at the beach with my dog. She's a 6 month old Australian shepherd. She's pretty wound up. She's been chasing her ball all over the beach. Wow, there she goes again. She's looking for something to chase. She likes to chase anything. Oh, wrong way. Where's your ball? Right here. You gonna throw it? Ready? Take a look at you for getting your balls. She loves it. Woohoo. Go jump up. Come on, bring it back, bring it back. Uh oh. Is she gonna make it? No, she's slowing down. Well, we're gonna have a great year this year. No matter if we're in person or online or whatever the heck we're doing. So keep your spirits up and always remember that you have a beach in Washington state.
