United Streaming

This video is mainly for people who want to jump right in and start using streaming. Hopefully, by the end of this video, you will be able to find united streaming on the Internet. Choose a video and share it with your class. So from the get post website, you're going to click on teacher websites. Then miss tuck them out. Along the side of my page are different headings. Please find DPS sites and click on the united streaming. If you are brand new to united streaming, click on the passcode in the user.

Here you will enter the passcode I emailed to you. Click log in and it will take you to the login process, so you can create your own username and password. I'm going to go back to the subscriber log in and I am going to log myself in. Now, this is the page you will normally see when you log in. You can either search by grade. Excuse me, subject, or grade. I'm going to choose science. And then I'm going to click on third through 5th grade. Now I have narrowed my results down to science videos with a third through 5th-grade focus. I am now going to type my subject. Animal adaptations.

As you roll your mouse over the video, it gives you a brief summary about what is on each video. I'm going to choose my adaptations. Now, you can see the whole video is 24 minutes long. That's a little longer than what I'm looking for. So I'm going to skip the introduction. And for now, I'm going to go to basic needs, this column behavioral adaptations to get food and adaptations to get water. I'm going to add them to my content. So I will be able to find them later. Now, as you can see, the download feature has been disabled. I'm not sure if this is just temporary.

Last year we were able to download it. So I'm hoping once to get the membership straight. You'll be able to download it right on your desktop. But for now. So to access things at a later date, you can click on my content. And it gives you all of the videos that you have saved. Now, I am first going to start with basic needs. Because that is what I want my class to listen to. So I would select share and there are several ways to share this with your students. I think the easiest way right now until we have the download feature is to copy the story link.

So to do that, you're going to click on the link, and then you're going to right-click and select copy. I'm going to log out. And then I'm going to start with a new Internet window. I'm going to delete what's there. I'm going to right-click and select paste. Now I am. Sharing this video with my class. And all they have to do is click play. I would bookmark this or add it to your favorites. And so your children can find it easier.

Now, if you noticed, you just shared that one video with your class. So as soon as I clicked on something else, it wants you to log back in. So your children aren't going to be able to get lost by clicking on something else. The computer is going crazy here. All right.
