Tyler Willis, ACCTC Fashion Design Student

This is a video of Aiken County Career and Technology Center Fashion Design student ,William Tyler Willis, created on June 5th, 2019, as he was on the way to the district’s Career and Technical Education Program Completer Ceremony held at Aiken Technical College. Born with an hearing impairment, Tyler completed the 2-year program including participation in the South Carolina Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (SCFCCLA) Leadership Conference competitive Fashion Construction STAR Event under teacher Jean Pesce with the assistance of his translator of four years, DiAnne Boland. Having received a scholarship in the second year from the Midland Valley Lions Club we all wanted to express our gratitude through this video to the organization and let the members realize the extent of their generous efforts. Tyler plans to continue his studies in Digital Art and Design to pursue his aspirations to become a costume designer.
