Hi! It?s Declan here and I am going to be telling you about the internet project. The internet is my passion and I?ll explain it in the next few bits. But I am going to explain it as if you?re a person that have no idea what the internet is.
Hi, I?m a random person. What is the internet?
The internet is something you go on to a computer, or a laptop, or some kind of device. It allows all computers to connect to one another.
Oh, that?s interesting but what does the word connect mean?
To connect is to have one computer talk to another so that eventually we can keep in contact even if one person is in another country.
Oh, that?s cool. Can you tell me a little bit more?

So why is it your passion?
That?s a question I get asked a lot. In the future we will rely on technology and communication. It is important that we stay safe with this tech and that?s why the internet project is there. To make sure everyone stays safe and knows a lot about what they are doing online.
Can you give me an example of being unsafe with tech?
Sure. So say you have a laptop and you?re chatting with someone, but then one day someone sends you a nasty message. This can make people feel sad, or angry. That?s an example of being unsafe with tech.
