The Elementary Bilingual Showcase | Central Consolidated School District | Shiprock, New Mexico

Teachers, parents and community members watched as students danced, sang, and read at the Central Consolidated School District’s annual Elementary Bilingual Showcase. Approximately 550 students performed throughout the event, held Feb. 19, 2016, at the Phil Thomas Performing Art Center in Shiprock, New Mexico. In addition to traditional Navajo bilingual and cultural presentations, the event featured Spanish bilingual classes and dancing performances highlighting the Filipino culture.
