Volunteers at Ojo Amarillo Elementary school laid out donated toys, clothing items and treats for the annual Christmas Trading Post, nicknamed the school's Black Friday event on Friday, December 11, 2015. Shari Eddleman, the school's librarian and trading post coordinator, expressed how this incentive program encourages students to keep up good behavior and complete their homework in order to earn Bobcat Bucks, which are used as currency to purchase items at the bi-monthly event. She encouraged the students to use the trading post event to purchase Christmas gifts for their families. Ojo Amarillo Elementary parent and volunteer, Jovita Kee emphasized how her children enjoy attending the school because of events like this one, which encourages good behavior, attendance, and independence.
