Starting the year off right is important to the teachers and staff at Shiprock High School, and with the Ignition Program, incoming freshmen have the opportunity to transition smoothly and efficiently into this next step of their education. In the Ignition Program, SHS freshmen are paired up with successful seniors in the school who will mentor them during the first year of high school.
