Meet Zoe and Pie, a mother & daughter duo of three banded armadillos.
I?m Susi from Wish Gardens in Tampa
And this is Zoe the three-banded armadillos
And this is her baby, Pi
He got his name because he was born on Pi day at 3:14
One of the coolest things about armadillos is that their little plate patterns are unique to each individual
Zoe?s little armor on her face looks like a paw print
And he (Pi) looks like a soda cans and a pep together
One of armadillos favorite things to do is run around and explore
Another cool things about this armadillos is that their pretty much the only one that can curl up into a little ball
And their head and tail make a perfect sphere
It?s really neat
It?s great protection from predators
