Ruth N. Bond Elementary School Farewell | Judy Nelson Elementary School Open House | Kirtland, NM

During the first open house of the year at the newly joined K-6 elementary school now called Judy Nelson Elementary (formerly known as Grace B. Wilson Elementary), teachers, students, and community members had a chance to reminisce and say goodbye to Ruth N. Bond Elementary School. Ms. Lenore Lyautey and Ms. Jill Gillen have both taught at RNB Elementary for their entire teaching career, up till this year. Demolition for RNB Elementary is set to begin soon and the new building for Judy Nelson Elementary will begin construction soon after the site is cleared. The only buildings to remain from Ruth N.
