Reviewing Three Kinds of Shapes
Hi, Friends. My name is miss Kayla. I'm one of the preschool teachers at RES and this is my dog dozer and today we are going to be reviewing three shapes. Can you help me? The first shape we're going to review is this one. A circle, a circle has zero sides because it's a curved shape. And it has no corners. You might find a circle on mommy or daddy's car. Or if you're playing basketball. The next shape I have is this one. This shape is a rectangle, a rectangle has four sides. Can you count them with me? One, two, three, four, and four corners.
A rectangle has two long sides and two short sides. You might find a rectangle when you're using a ruler or a phone. The last shape is a square. A square also has four sides and four corners. Can you count the corners with me? One, two, three, four, and these sides are equal. Equal means they are all the same. So this side is just as long as this side and this side and that side. You might find a square on a stamp, a post it note, or some of your books. Great job reviewing your shapes and I can't wait to see what kind of shapes you find. Bye.
