Newcomer Kit Part 2
Elementary
Hi, Friends. So lining is miss Rand Emily, but you can call me this B on the first grade teacher here and I am so excited to have you in my class this year. I can't wait to get to know you more, but for now this is just a quick video that's going to tell you some fun facts about me and tell you a little bit about the classroom norms that we have set up. The rules and expectations that we have. So first comes first all about me. I am from Pensacola, Florida. That's where my mom and dad live, and when I'm not at school, I love to hang out with my friends and spend some time reading and trying new things and just exploring Tallahassee and really like arts and crafts projects, really like cooking baking. So something that's a little bit more interesting. My pets, as you can see to the left of your screen, you see a black dog in his name is Mulligan, who's a black lab, Mulligan is super playful and super fun and he just loves his toys as you can see. He is three years old. And then on the right, we have Chloe. I do not know what type of dog Chloe is that I've had ever since I was really young. She's 9 years old. And she is love supply, but she's not quite as playful as Mulligan. So I have a pretty big family, I would say. From in the middle picture, you see my from starting from the left to right. You can see my nephew, my sister in law, my brother, and then you see me, and then my dad, my mom, my oldest brother, and my oldest brother's girlfriend, I'm a very end. And then in the upper left corner, you can see my sweet nephew and beautiful niece. My nephew is two in my niece is a few months old now. So we're excited because she's a little baby. She's new. And then in the bottom right corner of your screen, you see miss B's boyfriend, my boyfriend. I do consider him a part of my family. So, some fun things to know about me. I, my dad was in the military, and so I've lived in a lot of different places, including Italy. So obviously you'll hear more about this when you're in my class and I'll show you pictures and stuff like that, but I've lived in Texas who Virginia, California, then we move to Italy, and then we move back and we were just going to see, and then my family moved to Pensacola, and then I went to college. You can tell how soon I've stuck it there since. So anyways, that's enough about me. I just wanted to talk about some classroom norms that we have. These are just a few little tips to help you get through your first year here with me. Some things I want you to know. The first thing is just don't be afraid to ask questions whenever you need help or whatever you have something to say. Make sure to say it. Raise your hand to ask these questions or if you ever need to get out of your seat, please raise your hand as well. Something that I would tell all of my students is to always do your best, the work that you put in is so important. And as long as you're doing your best, you're doing everything you can. Be kind to others around you, keep your hands to yourself, you don't want people touching us and we just are touching our stuff. And we want to stay safe and healthy. So we're going to keep our hands to ourselves. Also, keep a positive attitude. This means to be happy and just keep a good attitude and keep your head up. And then the last thing I'd say is to be respectful to both your teachers, which would be me in any other art teacher and music teacher at our VE coach while I'm disappears by the fold of them in your classmates. So this means that listen when they're talking and do your best to be nice to them and so to have some classroom norms, obviously there's more pillow talk about in class. But yeah, with that, I just wanted to end by saying you're so excited to have you in our class. I'm so excited to see all the new friends you make and I am excited to meet you. I think it's no more values. Thank you
