How to format your paper in MLA format
Hi guys, this is miss jokes. I'm going to show you how to formulate your papers and MLA format. So first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to go to clever because you can access M Microsoft Word from there. Sorry, as you can see, I'm at work doing this on my planning period. You're welcome. The first thing you need to do is scroll down until you get to. Productivity tools and click on Microsoft Word. It's going to probably ask you to log in. I went ahead and already logged in, so it's probably not going to ask me to do that again. Well, it might, okay? Okay, sometimes it glitches.
So what I do is I'll just open up another browser. Just so I can type it in. And then I'll just copy and paste it. All right, so once I'm in, it shows me all that I want to word. Document. And I just want to blank document. So the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to change my font. Once it loads, two times the Roman. I'm going to change the size to 12, okay? Then I'm going to go to the more options button. And I'm going to click line spacing. Two. That makes it double space. Okay? Then I'm going to type in my first name. And my last name. Then I'm going to type in my teacher's name, which is miss jokes. Then my class name, which is either accelerated. Accelerated bridge literature or British literature. And then you have the date that is due. Because I'm doing this around the college research paper time.
I will make it that day. So it's August 20th, 2019. Okay? I hit enter again, and then I'm going to go to the alignment button, I'm going to hit center. This is where I put my title. So I'm just going to title it college, research paper. Feel free to title whatever you want with indiscretion, guys. It could be something more personal, but or standard like this. But please within reason. Okay? You hit enter and then I need to go back to left the line. Make sure I have that, okay? And then I will start typing. And notice when I do tight, it double spaces for me automatically. Okay? All right, the last thing that I'm going to do for an MLA format is I'm going to put a header in. So I go to the insert tab. I click page number.
Yes, I did say a header, but it's easier when you go page number first. So we do page number and you want it at the top right. So I'm going to click this one. And it says, we'll add the page numbers here. That's where you want them. And right before the page number, you're going to put in your last name in a space. Now this is definitely not times enrollment. Size 12. So we need to go back and change that. And then once you're done, you just click out of it. And it disappears, but whenever you want to see it, just click on edit header, and it'll be there. Okay? All right, hopefully that was easy. And good luck. All right? Have a good one.
