From slide 7/12, introduction: At 10’ 40’’ Stephen Hawking states : ( evidence mine) You see, the laws of science describe how the universe behave but to understand the universe at the deepest level we also need to understand why, WHY is there something rather than nothing, why do we exist, why this particular set of laws and not some other. I believe the answer to all these questions is the M-Theory. putting the same question (but not the same answer) I had decided to cling to when I was six years old, what, decades later, triggered the following comment.
