I Got This Hat - IPS - NSS 2016

Students of IPS sharing where they got their hat from. Last Wednesday around 60 students from Foundation to Grade 3 travelled to the Distance Education Centre in Thornbury where students listened to the story “I got this Hat” and participated in some activities relating to the story. It was an exciting opportunity for students to participate in a literacy lesson conducted outside of the traditional classroom setting and work with different teachers and students. At the same time back at Ivanhoe Primary School classes were to log into the live stream of the event and participate online. We had some success and other classes improvised coming up with their own activities. Here is 1/2O using digital learning technologies to showcase their work.
