Here I'm going to go into the students Internet as you can see I'm on the college website, Casey C dot AC dot UK. And here there's a choice of things. And I'm going to choose intranets. Here I go on to Merlin, student intranet. Scroll down, English is so foreign languages. Scroll down again. ESOL, and the dropdown menu, going to entry to. There's a choice of files. If I want a student to do some extra work on formal reading, I'll go into reading. And this is a lesson. And I'll choose here formal letters. Four letters, aims. And this is quite good to use in the library or at home or even in the computer.
Sweet as students can work at their own pace. Start. And all quite self explanatory. Welcome to further letters. In this unit, you will read a letter about a hospital appointment. You will practice finding important details about the appointment and reading carefully to understand what you must do. You click on to the second page and there you have an exercise. You also have additional help. And obviously self correcting.
