History of Pizza

Did you know that the pizza was invented in Naples in 1889 by Raffaele Esposito. He was making a special meal for Queen Margarita. He used a piece of flatbread, tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. He chose these items because they were the same color as the Italian flag.

Pizza was brought to the United States and was eaten by the poor Italian immigrants. Now, it?s one of the most popular food in the world. The last thing you need to do is bake your pizza.
