Gene Found in Yeast Regulates Vein and Artery Growth; Sheds Light on New Drug

Researchers found that the rab11b gene found in yeast can regulate vein and artery growth in vertebrates. Using the same gene, they also determined that a drug used to treat parasitic and fungal infections could also reduce the size of tumors.
