Reading the book called "Friends Stick Together" by Hannah E. Harrison
Hello, everyone. It's mister catcher with another show me book. This is called friend stick together by Hannah Harrison. The old story of a friendship between our rhinoceros and the tick bird. Everybody listen up. I'm Rupert. I like reading dictionaries. Listening to classical overtures. At eating cucumber sandwiches with no crust. This is Levi, he's a tick bird. He likes corny jokes. Why do bees always have sticky hair? Because they use honeycombs. Armpit farts and popping wheelies. He just showed up one day hi, I'm Levi. I like the jeans. And sit on my nose. I think you and me are gonna be like biscuits and gravies. And now I'm stuck with him. The other verbs are cool. Harold recite Shakespeare.
To be or not to be, that is the question. Judith can sing opera. Now you know the webmaster kitchen doesn't teach music. But Levi, hey burps, the alphabet. The. Spirit of the rest. Making friends was hard before, but now it's pretty much impossible. In music class, Levi likes to play epic air guitar solos. Inappropriate times. During once she makes a big to do about eating my ticks and grosses everyone out. Tastes like chicken. Just kidding, it tastes like tick. In Jim class, he draws even more attention to my shameful lack of upper body straight. How worries ruby? I'll be LeBron and you'll be the brains. If you're happy and you know it's stretch your toes, if you're happy and you know and stretch your toes. Levi has got to go. So in music class, I play wrong notes loudly and Levi's direction. But he doesn't miss a beat. During dodgeball, I twist and turn so that Levi gets nailed by the ball every single time. But, you know, it was bouncing back. I had a recent I tried flinging him off me with centrifugal force.
I get sick of the trash can, but Levi has the right of his life. That was awesome. I decided it's time to be direct. I say, Levi, I find your boisterousness at hand loathsome, huh? You're uncouthness is slightly problematic. All right? I want to be alone. Ow, he says in hops down. Sorry, Rupert, I thought you looked like you could use a friend. He shuffles off to go hide in the bush. The next day at school, Levi's, nowhere to be found. Music class is nice in the harmonious, but also a little boring. At lunch I have my favorite cucumber sandwiches, but I can't even enjoy them. Because I'm so itchy. And a gym instead of me and Levi getting picked glass for teams. It's just me. I think Levi might have been right. And I feel terrible. So after school, I go to Levi's house and knock at his door. Knock knock. Who's there? Rhino.
I know who? I know it was wrong, and you were right. And I'm really sorry. Can we be Friends? Levi laughs and opens the door. He says, I don't know. You could be a little highfalutin. Huh? It's an adjective. Means too big for your britches. My what? Yeah, he says, we can be Friends. I'm Rupert. Yeah, it turns out I like classical air guitar, cordy jokes. And my good friend Levi, that was a little Sully even for me. Ladies and gentlemen, this has been friends stick together one of the show me award nominees for the 2021 school year. If you go to the mobile district, I will show you how to vote on that. Everybody stay safe and keep reading.
