The definition of Foreshadowing and it's examples
Hello everyone. This is miss foster and today we're going to be talking about foreshadowing. Foreshadowing is defined as a warning or indication of a future event in the text. So anytime you're reading or watching something and think, oh, that happened earlier. It's probably an example of foreshadowing.
For example, in the movie Toy Story, buzz and woody's escape on the rocket is foreshadowed multiple times by buzz's laser and by still using the magnifying glass to burn woody's head. You can see these particular scenes in the following gifts.
Now you give it a try. Watch the two clips from Finding Nemo and tell me how the first clip foreshadows the second one.
