Ferris Wheel Fractions (unit fractions and more)

A student was asked to select a shape and to give the unit fraction in both numerical and word form. He was also asked to create more questions regarding that chosen fraction. He saw that the shape looked like a ferris wheel, and that the shaded fraction reminded him of a broken cart. The non shaded pieces made him think that they were the unbroken carts. I love how kids think!
