Doubles game
How-To
Hi first graders. I'm going to teach you how to play a doubled game. So this is an audition game. So you're going to be taking two numbers and you're going to be putting them together to make a hole. Let me show you how to play. This is a two player game. So you have one board here. And another board here. You can see they're different. One has a hamburger. One has a pizza. There's also one that has dinosaurs. And a few others, there's ice cream. Volcano, our dinosaur. It doesn't matter which one you take, whichever one you'd like. So you can play this with two people or three people. Here's what you need for the gate. You need two dice. You're going to share this dice with your players with the other people you're playing with. So you only need two. You're also going to need some colored counters. Not too many, just a few. Just got a handful. That means enough to hold in your hand. You're going to do rock-paper-scissors to see who goes first. I'm playing by myself. So I don't need to do rock-paper-scissors. I'm going to pick the pizza one. So I'm going to roll one dice, not two, just one. I'm going to roll it and I came up with the number one. So what I'm going to do with my other dice is I'm also going to find another one the same. And I'm going to double it. So I have one. I'm going to grab another one. Put it together. That makes one, two, so I'm going to cover a two on my board, which is right, here. After that, the other player would play. Since I'm playing by myself, I'm going to go again. So again, I'm going to roll one dice. I don't want again. Let me try it again, see if I can get another number. I got two. So I'm going to take my other dyes, and I'm going to also make another two, put those together. That makes one, two, three, four. So I'm going to take my color counter. I'm going to find the four. I'm going to keep taking turns with my partner or my partners. And whoever gets 5 in a row wins. So you can win like this. You can win. Like this. Or you can win diagonally, like this. I hope you enjoy this game, and I'm always here to answer any questions you have. Bye.
