Will you like to deposit your paycheck without ever having to go to the bank? Now you can with direct deposit. Direct deposit allows your paycheck to be automatically deposited in your bank account electronically. Direct deposit is similar to the process used when depositing a check in person. Funds are directed to your bank by a routing number and funds are directed to your specific account by an account number. However, with direct deposit, the funds are sent electronically to your bank from the organization thus paying you. You do not need to bring a check into the bank. Is direct deposit safe? Yes, in 2011, direct deposit was used to process over 20 billion pauses with a total value of over $33 trillion. What are the benefits of direct deposit? One. Direct deposit is safe. You do not have to carry a paper check that can be lost or stolen. Two. Direct deposit is convenient. You do not need to go to the bank. Three. We're direct deposit. You have access to your money more quickly on your actual payday without waiting for a check to clear. Four. People generally save more with direct deposit because they don't even have to think about it. Use direct deposit to build your savings. This can make a huge difference if you have an emergency down the road. If you save $500 for an emergency and therefore avoid charging emergency expenses on a credit card, you could easily save over $350 in future interest payments. What do students with direct deposit think about it? I got it at my school and whenever I work in my school, we got our paychecks and some people get their paychecks in the mail and they get a check and then they have to take it to the bank and get money for that. But direct deposit, sleep it right into your account and you don't have to do anything. It's just in your account after you get paid, so that is amazing. I really love direct deposit. Direct deposit has been a great experience for me whenever I have. It set up to get paid right to my check account. It's really convenient. One of the facts about it that people don't really realize that you usually get paid earlier. When you have direct deposit, then when you have to wait for the pay cycle to get mailed to you, so that's always exciting to get paid before some of your coworkers. Well, first, it wasn't direct to pause it, and I would get the check, deliver it to me. Or I would get the check, and then I'd just go deposit to the bank. And then I realized, that wasn't efficient, so I enrolled in direct deposit. So whenever it would be like 12 or midnight, my check would just automatically go to the bank account and I thought that was really cool. But I think direct deposit was the best thing for me. And I think that's really good if you have a job to do direct deposit, opposed to having the physical check. It saves a lot of time. Direct deposit, I think because it automatically goes to the bank account. You're not going to be prone to spend it as much. And if you do spend it, it's not like you're going to have a lump sum. You might do a little by little, but that money is always going to be in the bank account just by having direct deposit, which is really good tool. So nothing will actually happen to the checks. So for instance, in the worst scenario, maybe you lose your check, you won't lose your check with direct deposit because it just automatically rolls over into your bank account. So it takes away and eliminates risk. If you believe that you are unstoppable your problems don't worry you'll be gone breakable. I'm breakable.
