Dave Bowman | A Legendary Coach | CCSD | Shiprock, NM

Players and students fondly remember Dave Bowman as a teacher and coach who cared deeply for his students at Shiprock High School and loved high school athletics. He served as a basketball, cross country, and football coach, as well as a teacher at the high school. He was a role model to the young men and women he interacted with and his influence and leadership helped to shape Shiprock High School to become the proud Chieftain community that thrives today. Although the Dave Bowman Gymnasium is set for demolition, this short documentary film serves to commemorate his years of service at Shiprock High School and his positive influence in the Shiprock community.
