Classroom Brain Breaks - Rock Paper Scissors

Name: Rock Paper Scissors Grade: K-5 Time: 5 Minutes Type:Partners Formation:Face to Face Where/How:Standing Equipment: Music: To play during game if desired Directions: Students will stand toe to toe facing each other with their partner. Students can take 1-2 steps back. On teachers signal students will jump 3 times while saying Rock, Paper Scissors. After students land after jumping three times they will land by showing: a rock, paper or scissors. Rock = land with feet together Paper = land with feet shoulder width apart Scissors = standing lunge (one foot forward one foot back) Rock beats scissors, paper beats rock, scissors beats papers Students can find another partner to play with after each game.
