Catching Butterflies in Ecuador

Keith Willmott, an Assistant Curator of Lepidoptera at the Florida Museum of Natural History, describes methods researchers use in Ecuador to capture butterflies high up in the rainforest canopy. Researchers also use long-handled nets and climb into the forest canopy to locate and identify butterfly species.
