Shown in the picture. So we see this is a baseball, that's a soccer ball, that's a tennis ball. This is a soccer ball soccer ball in two tennis balls. This is two. Baseballs and a soccer ball. Contestants try to determine the weight of each kind of ball. How much does each kind of ball weigh? Explain how you solved it, show how you know you are correct. So the first step when you take the SC ready test is that you need to put your word problems in a graphic organizer.
Normally I give you the sheet, but on the SE ready, you're not going to have the shit. You have to create it yourself. So in the first column, you're going to put Q which stands for question. And the second column goes K K stands for no. What do I know from the problem? These are the two easiest columns to get points. Q K, I, I stands for and fur. And firm means what can I figure out? This information comes from your brain. It is not written in the problem. So I'm going to say from my brain. So you can not just find something that's written on the paper as an inference. It comes from your brain, from your mind. Q K I, P, M, stands for draw, a picture, with numbers from the problem.
And the last one is a, a stands for answer. So Q KI, P and a is what you're going to have to remember on your own. So first is Q the question that I see is how much does each kind of ball away? How? Much. Does each. Kind of ball wait? I remember we talked about infer, what can I figure out? This is from your brain. They didn't tell you in the problem that each. Means that there is going to be more than one answer. Please remember that because sometimes when you guys get on the standardized test, you only give one answer, but each means that you're going to have more than one answer. And because there are three different types of balls, we're going to infer or figure out that they're actually going to be three answers.
And then I'm going to move down to the answers and I'm going to put it here. So that I don't forget. That there will be three answers. Okay? What do I know from the problem? This is another easy column to get points. So you should not leave that blank because all you're doing is copying what you see and the problem. We know that one baseball, one soccer ball and one tennis is 19 ounces. So I'm going to put what do I know? I know that one. Baseball, one, tennis ball, and one soccer ball. Ways, 19 ounces. The second picture, I know that two soccer balls and two tennis balls. To soccer balls and two tennis balls. Is 28 ounces.
