The Land Regions of California

California land regions, what do the land and water look like where you live? Do you see mountains the ocean a desert or something else? Let's take a tour of our state and learn more about it. California's coast region lies along the Pacific Ocean, and is more than 800 miles long. 

A valley is a long area of low flat land between hills or mountains, many fruits and vegetables grow here. The mountain region includes many lengths, much of California's water for drinking comes from this region. The desert region makes up most of southeastern California. Summers are hot and dry there, winters can be cold. Many areas are flat and low.
