For this activity I created a simple instructional video titled “How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich.” Even though the movie is short. There are a number of features included to make sure that the movie promotes UDL. The movie has Audio as well as captions. The captions are in a Sans Serif font, which is easier to read when displayed electronically. The captions also have a contrasting background color that rates 7.2:1 ok on the accessibility color wheel. Lastly, the same animation is used when approaching a new step in the instruction.
