YouTube and Blogs: Where are they in the classroom?

On our drive home together after hearing Alan November speak at a conference in Williamsbu rg, Virginia, my colleague said, "Those English teachers need to start using their digital projectors . You need to stay on top of new technology , continue eduction and follow trends. If there were 26 hours in a day I would still not have enough time. lolI now work at encouragin g young readers through new technology . Part of it, I think, can be attributed to the huge success of the movie Twilight, but some of these readers are much younger that that target audience. Pendragon seems to be getting a good number of comments from young readers, maybe because the trailer includes segments of kids talking about the book. But what's gr ...

Embedding on Google Pages

We have begun an effort to upload Chicken (and other) embryo timelapse videos, as well as videos of our science teacher explaining the school wide lesson.
